2015 TLX Has The Interior You Want

The Interior Overview

The 2015 Acura TLX is kicking up its level of style and luxury for the coming year, with a redesigned interior and a new suite of tech features. The Red Carpet Athlete theme is the basis for the redesign, which aims to provide a greater amount of refinement, increase the driver and passengers’ comfort, and offer advanced technology to enhance the driving experience.

The interior of the 2015 Acura TLX is aesthetically sleek, with a soft-touch instrument panel for a touch of refinement, with accents in wood grain and high-gloss alloy. The seating upholstery is leather with Milano bolsters, and a number of smaller touches such as premium floor mats and cup holders provide an enhanced feel. The tandem distance on the Acura TLX (the distance separating the front and back row of seats) is the same as the TL sedan model made previously, despite the 2015 TLX’s updated and more compact exterior.

The Technology

Perhaps the real star of the show here, however, is the technology featured inside the 2015 TLX. There is a lot at work, but a few highlights include the AcuraLink console, which offers navigational aids, entertainment for passengers, and more, as well as the Siri Eyes Free system, which is designed to sync with compatible iPhone operating systems and provide a greater degree of hands-free functionality.

The 2015 TLX also features push button keyless entry, heated driver and passenger seats, a V-6 electronic gear selection system, an electric parking brake system, and electronic cruise control. The interior display also functions as a rearview camera with guidelines to ensure safe backing up and parallel parking, a dual-zone climate control system with automatic settings, and a rearview mirror that dims automatically based on ambient light levels.

The entertainment featured in the on-demand multi-information display, or MID, includes functionality with XM radio, Pandora, and Aha, as well as Bluetooth,USB, and 3.5mm auxilliary input connectivity. Audio is streamed to a seven-speaker Acura Premium Audio System, which operates at 355 watts.

If all that tech isn’t enough for you, the Technology Package includes a number of additional features, such as a traffic rerouting system, three-dimensional navigation system, real-time traffic updates, and more. For safer driving, there are the forward collision warning and lane keeping assist systems. The 2015 Acura TLX can be found at your local Acura dealer in Roswell, GA.
